Greg Spears started in real estate in 1974 doing site location work with Motel 6 and Sambo's Restaurants in the southeast. He moved back to California in 1978 and sold Business Opportunities (mainly restaurants) on the Monterey peninsula until moving back to the southeast and establishing Spears Realty in 1983. In 1998 "Boone Station" a Planned Unit Development was created in Burlington, N.C. with Greg Spears as co/developer of the project which was completed in early 2005. He has been a member of the Burlington-Alamance Board of Realtors since the 1990's, and joined the Commercial Alliance Division in it's creation in 2008. He served as president of the Alliance for 2013-2014 membership year. The company has specialized in locating properties for commercial and industrial uses, and in 2016 started a residential division. The addition of the Residential division gives Greg and Spears Realty the ability to better serve the entire community with all of their real estate needs.
